The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The movement is signed Elsinore, one of the brand names used by the General Watch Company along with Helvetia.

The watch measures 56mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel and it is in very nice condition. Screw-on bezel and case back, a nice sign of quality.
The watch glass is nice and thick and it is in lovely condition.

The dial has a couple of short faint hairline cracks towards the edge by number 4. Original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch comes with a single white metal chain and a 1937 Coronation commemorative coin fob.
The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
