The figured walnut veneers are beautiful throughout, all built on solid mahogany construction. There is fine herringbone inlay on all edges, the attention to details here is wonderful.
The drawers have fine dovetailed joints & are graduated in depth. They also have the original brass handles.
This desk has canted corners and sits on short cabriole legs with shell carvings & original brass casters.
We have had this French polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent for its age.
