Description

Regency rosewood chiffonier side cabinet c.1820. Highly figured rosewood veneered top with a crossbanded edge and nicely shaped mouldings below. Over a two door cupboard fitted with two shelves (depth 10½") which can be positioned as reqired by sliding them into the grooves on the sides. Arched door panels with excellent quality brass grills over pale green silk and flanked with moulded half columns to the outside edges of the doors. Rosewood veneered front and sides on solid mahogany groundwork. Raised on the original turned feet. Repairs to the veneers at both sides of the top. Otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.
