Description

Smart little 19th.c. walnut music cabinet c.1870. Just 22" wide. Burr walnut veneered top with crisp inlaid detail at the centre and original gilded ormolu gallery at the back edge. Single door cabinet fitted with three original shelves and curved dividers for sheet music, the shelves with original leather fronts named for Dance, Songs and General Music. Flanked with turned walnut columns with carved detail. Walnut veneers to the sides and doors with inlaid stringing and laid onto solid mahogany groundwork. Shaped apron around the base. Good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
