Description

A very good quality mid-Victorian George II style solid mahogany upholstered Wing-Armchair. Beautiful ornate carving to all exposed wooden surfaces, front, back and sides. The hairy-paw feet, deeply carved serpentine 'apron' and some other features suggest this is of Irish origin. Re-upholstered recently in a mint-green fabric, in excellent overall condition.

Dimensions: height: 114cm (45 inches) width: 82cm (32.75 inches) x depth: 92cm (36 inches). Seat height 45cm (17.5 inches).

A charming and practical, recently re-upholstered, George II style wing-armchair, possibly of Irish origin.
