Description

A very fine antique Chinese silver plated lidded cloisonne pot mounted with a polished carnelian dating from the early 20th Century. This elegant pot stands on a narrow rounded base with a squat rounded body and short funnel neck with a fitted domed cover the top mounted with a polished carnelian. The cloisonne floral and leaf designs are mounted in relief on a silver plated ground and finely detailed in coloured enamels. The base and inner pot are decorated in typical turquoise coloured enamels and the pot is not marked.
In good condition with light wear associated with age and use and light rubbing.
