A rare set of hooks / trammel, that would have been used to hang a candle chandelier in an impressive house....very unusual to see an example of a trammel in brass....first one I have ever had.....illustrated in ''Domestic Metalwork 1640-1820 by Rupert Gentle & Rachael Field'' page 241.
English. C1770-80.
