Description

A very stylish antique silver art deco Austrian ladies’ cigarette case, tactile rounded rectangular shape, the lid with machine turned decoration and a blue and white enamel deco design border. Opens to reveal the original silver gilt interior and retaining elastic straps. Struck with the Vienna second standard assay for silver purity of 900/1000, in use between 1886 and 1925, and maker’s mark D.M. Fab weight, quality and condition, lovely thing.
Condition: In excellent collector’s condition with minimal age-related wear. Shuts firmly.
