An ornate mid Victorian bronze inkwell with drip tray, the well in the form of an urn with a finial topped cover, swag & bow decoration and female portraits at the front and back in oval frames. The tray stands on four feet with symmetrical scrolling foliate decoration and a gadrooned border. This splendid inkwell is missing its lider otherwise it is in excellent condition measuring 9 ½ inches in length.
