Description

A fine pair of silver plated serving tureens / entree dishes with removable twist handles. Dating to the period 1840-1860, these pieces are of very solid construction and would grace any dining table. Beautiful solid cast handles.
The condition is very good with very little plate wear and only minor surface wear to the interiors. The lids are very slightly raised to the edges but sit fairly comfortably on their bases.
Measuring approx 32cm in length by 25cm wide and standing approx 13cm to top of handle.
Each weight approx 1.8kg.
