Flanked by two banks of four drawers, one bearing label "T & G Seddon No. 12 London House, Aldersgate Street" raised on plinth base to casters.

The firm T & G Seddon were reknowned as makers of fine quality furniture. They were awarded a Royal warrant in 1832 following their partnership with Nicholas Morel to refurnish Windsor Castle.
