Description

A very unusual 18th.Century yew wood chest on chest with brushing slide. The top section having a moulded dentil cornice above the blind fret frieze. The 3 short over 3 long graduated drawers all having good brass swan neck handles and escutcheons with oak linings throughout . The good canted corners with further blind fret detail. The lower section having a further 3 graduated drawers below a brushing slide with brass axe head handles. This unusual yew wood chest is raised on shaped bracket feet and is in great condition having been fully restored in our own workshops. Transports in 2 pieces. Dimensions :- Height…76.75’’/ 195cm. Width…43.5’’/ 110.5cm. Depth…21.75’’/ 55.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £75. .
