Antique French Inlaid Marquetry Coffee Table

1920 - 1940
Description

A beautiful and elegant antique French coffee table, dating from around the 1930’s.

This is of wonderful quality, with a brass rim around the top and ormolu mounts on the knees. The ormolu & brass fittings are aged naturally, so we don’t want to clean them & spoil the character.

The top is beautifully inlaid with satin wood and king wood cross banding around the edges, with floral marquetry in the centre. We have had this recently French polished, the condition is excellent for its age.

Depth – 20 inches , 50 cm

Height – 18 inches , 46 cm
