Description

This delightful Edwardian silver Arts & Craft inspired jewellery box is dated Birmingham 1907. Of oval form, the hinged cover with planished decorations surrounding a vacant oval cartouche. The conforming spot-hammered sides raised on four claw legs. Gilt inner lid and original silk interior.

Fully hallmarked solid silver base.

Hallmarks:

S.B & S. Ltd for S Blanckensee & Sons.

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letter "h" for 1907.
