Description

A Late 19th Century marble, bronze and Ormolu French clock garniture. Also known as a Garniture De Chiminee which is the French description for a clock set, which would be on the mantle piece of a fireplace. The clock has a central enamelled and painted dial in a marble case with fine ormolu mounts, the central finial flanked by attendant bronze cherubs. The matching candelabra having three finely cast ormolu sconces also with attendant cherubs and supported on a marble base with Roman columns again with fine ormolu mounts. French circa 1890-1900

Dimensions: Clock 17" wide x 15" high x 5.5" deep Candelabra 5" deep x 7" wide x 18" high

Condition: This clock set is in lovely original condition, in full working order, recently overhauled by our clock restorer
