Antique Welsh Oak and Mahogany Chest of Drawers

An unusual early 19th century antique Welsh oak and mahogany chest of drawers having an arrangement of two small mahogany fronted drawers above a chest of two short and three long oak drawers, flanked by quarter pilasters, having panelled sides, and raised on turned feet. The drawers have each been lined with various Victorian wall papers. Particularly good colour and patina throughout with good authentic wear. An utterly charming piece of furniture.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age and wear. Some general surface wear throughout including marks and staining to the top (pictured), but overall, particularly good. Structurally solid and sound. There are some losses to the edges of the drawer fronts (pictured) but this adds to the charm. The paper to the inside of the drawers is worn but still charming. No key present for the drawers.
