Description

An antique 18th century oak coffer chest with hinged rectangular top revealing generous storage space and an internal candle box, having moulded three panel front, raised on stile feet. Complete with working lock and key.

Height – 68cm / Width – 112cm / Depth – 55cm

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age and wear. General surface wear throughout including some marks and staining. The original hinges are still present but later brass hinges have also been added. There is a shrinkage split to one side and some evidence of old historic wood worm to the back – this is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. Structurally sound. Complete with working lock and key.
