Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The dial has just been professionally restored to new condition with a starburst texture, half numerals and very unusual arrow head markers. The numerals and the arrow head markers are also solid rose gold.
It has its original rose gold pumpkin crown, this watch was made before the introduction of the logo crowns.
A new glass has been fitted and the case has been professionally polished.
As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case.
It comes with its original box and we have fitted a new Longines rose gold buckle to finish it off.
Its quite large at 36mm in diameter with a freshly serviced slimline 22a automatic movement with subseconds which keeps the profile low on the wrist.
It comes complete with a new premium quality black leather strap.

It has been professionally serviced and overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
It is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers parts. Each part is then thoroughly cleaned in a three stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturers approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give you reliable and dependable service and will not require further service for many years.
