Antique Mahogany Waterfall Bookcase

Description

A top quality antique cascading waterfall bookcase in mahogany. This dates from around the 1890-1900 period.

This is very well made, full of character and is of a great size. The drawers are solid oak lined with extremely fine dovetails, this has original brass drop down handles.

The mahogany has a beautiful patina, this is in excellent original condition. We have just cleaned this up and given it an oil polish. There is one tiny and almost imperceptible split on the lower right side. Seen in the images, this doesn’t affect the strength or function in any way.
