Description

Beautiful early 20th.c. inverted breakfront bookcase c.1930. Three glazed doors fitted with three adjustable shelves to the wider centre section (internal depth 13½") and four shelves to the sides (internal depth 14½"), plus blind storage in the base. In pale cherrywood with fabulous cube pattern parquetry work inlay with satinwood crossbanded surround to the cornice, lower door panels, sides and front corners. Moulded cornice and plinth raised on low turned feet. Long decorative brass escutcheon plates and original keys. Bevelled edge to the glazing, oak groundwork and back panels. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
