This is a charming and Original Vintage Portrait Oil Painting on Canvas after a famous work by 'Sir Thomas Lawrence', which is known affectionally as the 'The Red Boy', and titled officially as 'Master Lambton'.
Master Lambton (Charles William Lambton), 1818 - 1831. ('The Red Boy'). Son of John George Lambton, 1st Earl of Durham (1792 - 1840)
The wonderful piece was painted by a Naïve artist during the mid-20th Century.

Circa: 1950-1960
Mounted within the lovely original Vintage gilt moulded frame.
The painting is offered in an overall good condition commensurate with age - there is aged cracking of the paint across all of the surface areas (see images) - all adding top the charm, character and Vintage authenticity
