1923 Borgel Cased Silver Trench Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

A rare 1923 Silver trench watch. A high quality silver case with integral lugs and coin edge bezel. A sealed mechanism unit, screwing into the case as an early form of hermetically sealing the watch from dust/water. An enamel dial with lume filled Arabic numerals and 'cathedral' hands. The case is stamped with Glasgow import marks for circa 1923. A 15 jewel Swiss made mechanism by Gallet. Circa 1923.

Case width 34mm.
