Dating 1810 a fine and rare mahogany Baltic Biedermeier period framed split plate trumeau pier mirror the frame decorated with finely carved parcel gilt edging and square gilt metal rosettes ,the top frieze decorated with a central mirror plate with a mezzotint print depicting a woman and child holding a mans head ,flanked by two further open fretwork panels with carved oak leaves .The main mercury backed split plate mirror is in very good condition and retains the original backboards although there is some foxing to the plate in the frieze A very good decorative full length mirror which would look out standing in most rooms 62.5”or178cm high 27.25”or69.3cm wide 2”or5cm deep Delivery to most UK destinations is £65 However if you are coastal or remote, please give me your postcode as it will be more.
