A very attractive and simple ''8inch'' dial clock (or timepiece) in Mahogany. The substantial chain fusee movement has just been fully overhauled and the clock is running very well and keeping good time. The Dial is signed by the maker/retailer Payne & Co of New Bond Street, London. Payne and Co were retailers of exceptional clocks during the Mid to late Victorian period.. This great little clock dates to around 1880.
