Georgian Mahogany Small Side Table Circa 1810

18th century
Description

Fine quality Georgian figured mahogany small side table of oblong octagonal form with rosewood cross-banded top and fitted with two mahogany lined drawers with ebony cock-beads; the bottom one deep looking like two drawers. raised on finely turned and reeded legs joined with shaped cross stretchers with central ring. All in fine original condition except old replacement brass knobs. Lovely rich colour with fine waxed patina. In the manner of Gillows of Lancaster.

Size; 28" high, 18" wide, 13" deep.
