1st Period Worcester Tea Bowl and Saucer Circa 1770

Description

Fine 1st period Worcester tea bowl and saucer hand decorated in the 'blue japan pattern' with ribbed sides to bowl and saucer. Both pieces clearly marked with the famous 'square mark'. All in fine condition with no cracks or repairs, just a very minor nibble off the footrim of the saucer. (see image 3). A classic item of early Worcester porcelain.
