Description

A beautiful antique chest of drawers in highly figured & burr walnut, dating from around the 1900-1910 period. It is in the classic Georgian style, with a lovely serpentine shaped front on bracket feet.
The walnut veneers are stunning throughout, this has nicely cross banded drawer fronts and a cross banded top. The escutcheons are surrounded by finely inlaid satin wood.
This is of fantastic quality, with solid oak lined drawers and fine dovetails. The drawers are also graduated in depth with original brass handles & locks. We have had this recently French polished, the condition is excellent for its age, while retaining a beautiful patina and slightly worn charm.
