Rare Spode pottery toast rack, c. 1820. The boat shaped toast rack, with five shaped, and pierced dividers, and printed in the ‘Willow’ pattern. All beneath a Pearlware glaze.

Printed ‘SPODE’ in underglaze blue, and impressed ‘Spode 48’, to the base.

Medium: Earthenware

Height: 9 cm, 3 1/2”.

Width: 26 cm, 10 1/4”.

Depth: 10.2 cm, 4”.

Condition: Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
