In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
It has a thick curving seat with three storage drawers below.
It is in very good condition for its age and the pine has a wonderful warm patina. There are signs of age and wear, small knocks and marks but nothing detrimental. There are some old splits in the back panels but nothing untoward. There are signs of old worm which has all been treated as a precaution and hasn't affected the piece structurally or aesthetically. There have been some old repairs and parts of the drawers have been replaced but they all open smoothly and are clean and tidy inside. The whole piece has been cleaned and given a gentle wax and is ready for use.
