Antique Scottish Solid Silver Comport Tazza

1900 - 1920
Description

A fine example of a small solid silver tazza. It is stylish and good quality with two small handles and a circular footed base. It weighs approximately 114g.

It is clearly hallmarked for Edinburgh, 1908. The maker's mark is slightly rubbed but distinguishable for Crichton & Bruce.

It is in good condition for its age. There are some small dents around the top rim which are more noticeable in the photos than in person. There are some faint surface marks and a small dink in the edge of the foot but nothing detrimental and overall it displays well. It has been cleaned and polished and is ready for use.

The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions please ask.
