Description

This interesting antique 9ct solid gold and enamel football medal was awarded to J.C.Wyles for the Penrith & District Association Football Cup 1911-1912.
The medal was made by Vaughtons Ltd in 1912 and is still in it's original dated case.
The enamelling and the medal is in wonderful condition and the original box has Penrith & Dist Assoc'n Cup Competition 1911-12 embossed to the lid.
Hallmark: 9ct for 9ct gold.
Size: 2.7 cm (1") approx diameter plus the top ring.
Weight: 5.77g.
Maker: Vaughtons Ltd, Birmingham.
Condition: Medal and Enamelling is in excellent condition. The box has some light wear in keeping with age.
