Description

A rare mother of pearl and German silver quill machine.

Two blades both marked for Mappin Brothers Sheffield.

This is circa 1852.

In one end is a replacement? knibber.

It is in super condition and very rare being in mother of pearl.

Both knives are in good order, shut very well.

On the front is a plaque bearing the original owners initials.
