Gothic Carved Oak Pedestal Desk C.1920.

Description

Early 20th.c. Gothic carved oak pedestal desk c.1920. Good sized top with a faux leather writing surface over three drawers raised on twin pedestals with left and right hand opening cupboards, each fitted with a single shelf inside. Beautifully carved drawer fronts with blind Gothic tracery detail. Carved linen fold panels to the door fronts and continued on the sides of the pedestals and desk top. Fine quality original Gothic pattern steel strap hinges and escutcheons. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
