Description

This stunning ANTIQUE SILVER TANKARD was made by the well-known and sought after silversmiths of Nathan & Hayes and hallmarked in Chester in 1901.

Standing on a raised and stepped base, this lovely Silver Tankard has a gadrooned lower half with an embossed floral and scroll decoration to the top half.

To the front is a shield-shaped blank cartouche surrounded by scroll border and the Tankard is finished with an elegant scroll handle.

In excellent condition with no added engravings, monograms or initials, this superb Tankard would make a wonderful christening gift or would enhance any silver collection.
