A George V sterling silver and enamel pendant necklace by Charles Horner. The pendant necklace is modelled as a winged scarab in blue, turquoise, green, and purple guilloche enamel. The piece is hallmarked with the makers mark 'CH' for Charles Horner, lion passant, Chester marks, 1910.
Period: - Early 20th Century.
Date: - 1910.
Engraving: - None.
Measurement: - The winged scarab pendant measures 1.8cm (height) x 4.5cm (length) x 0.2cm (depth). The chain measures 18 & 11/16 inches (47.5cm).
Weight: - 6.2 grams / 0.20 troy oz.
Condition: - Surface scratches, and minor tarnishing commensurate with age and usage. The later addition clasp is stamped 925.
