Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1850s.
The square, painted dial is very clean and unusually has arabic numerals.
The 8 day, twin train movement strikes on a bell on the hour. The case is oak and mahogany and has a lovely french polished finish with a good colour and rich patina.
The clock has been fully overhauled and serviced by a registered member of the BHI.
