French Louis Xvi Style White Marble Mantel Clock by Samuel Marti

1900 - 1920
Description

A very good quality French Belle Epoque white carrara marble and bronze gilt mantel clock in the Louis XVI style. The clock has four columns with capitals and decorative mounts finished with Greek flaming torch finials and sunburst pendulum. The clock has a white enamel dial delicately painted with floral swags and an eight day French movement which strikes the hours and half hour on a bell with outside count wheel.

The movement is stamped with the makers name:-

The clock movement has been cleaned and serviced and comes with a 12 month guarantee.
