Antique Victorian Locket Collar Necklace Sterling Silver 18ct Gold Gilt Dated 1881

Description

An exquisite Antique late Victorian collar fashioned in Sterling Silver and gilded in 18ct Yellow Gold with lovely ornate links leading to a beautiful locket hanging below.
The locket is decorated with golden spheres and a chequerboard patterning engraved across the front. Itís fully hallmarked Birmingham - 1881 on the back along with the makerís initials GCD & Co.
The collar is also complete with two Victorian kite hallmarks but unfortunately these have faded over time and no longer identifiable.
Itís in excellent condition and the locket is complete with rims and windows within so two beloved photographs can be stored and kept close to the heart.
