Outstanding International Watch Company gents wristwatch.
It has the legendary calibre 848 fully automatic movement which is regarded as the finest automatic ever made and known as the watchmakers watch, as you can see is in superb condition.
The dial is in mint condition having been fully restored.
As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case.
The watch case is oversize and measures 37mm in diameter not including the crown.
It can be supplied with a leather strap of any colour or style.
The watch has just been fully serviced. It has been fully authenticated and found to be a genuine IWC in all respects. This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under high magnification for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then thoroughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The watch movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. the cases are polished and the watch sealed, in the case of waterproof watches a full waterproof pressure test is carried out to manufacturers specification.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many many years.
