Description

The agate top is a wonderful colour on the silver Scottish mull.

The date on the front is 1755 in contemporary engraving. The other date of 1858 has been added later but has been engraved in the same style.

There is further engraving “den d’amitie sincere et affection”.

Very typical Scottish in design.

H 4.5 cm W 2.5 cm

Declaration

Digby Antiques (Wiltshire) has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
