Victorian Silver Caddy Spoon 1861

Description

A Superb Quality Victorian Solid Silver Tea Caddy Spoon with the most beautiful embossed handle, crafted by Henry Holland of Holland, Aldwinkle and Slater.

This lovely Tea Caddy Spoon was made in 1861 and despite being over 155 years old it is in excellent condition with no splits or repairs and the decoration is as lovely now as the day it was crafted.

The bowl of the caddy spoon is of undecorated form and shows no sign of use or wear.

This wonderful piece would have once belonged to a wealthy Victorian Family and used daily in a time when tea drinking was an Art and very expensive.

This will add something very special to any collection.

Condition:

Used / Excellent

There is no damage and no repairs.

Dimensions:

Length – 4.5” (113mm)

Weight – 25gm / 0.8ozt
