Antique Silver Omega Pocket Watch

Antique silver Omega pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Omega name and the serial number 4094571 dates it back to around 1912. The movement is protected by an inner hinged which has some unevenness and marking.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the two case backs for London (import mark) 1911 together with the early Omega logo and with an importer's mark SA for Selling Agency, watch importers,. The front and side of the case are in good condition, just a couple of small “dings”. The hinged case back has some unevenness.

The acrylic lens is in lovely condition.

The dial is signed with the name of the original retailer, Mason & Son, Middlesbrough. Handsome blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
