Description

This is a Georgian surgeons tortoiseshell lancet case complete with two lancets.

It has a silver push button to open and close and silver decoration. The case opens and shuts very well.

The tortoiseshell is overall in excellent condition commensurate with age, there are signs of wear.

The lancets may not be the original, but they are both marked for Clark, Bath.

The top has a cartouche with the owners initials and the medical symbol.
