Rare Victorian Silver Novelty Table Cigar Lighter Modelled as Aladdin's Lamp by John Wilmin Figg, London 1849

Description

This fabulous early Victorian silver novelty table lighter in the form of Aladdin's lamp was made by the highly collectable silversmith John Figg. The body engraved with Greek key patterns, the flying scroll handle with eagle mask terminal. The fully hallmarked removable lid linked by a chain to the beak of the eagle.
