Description

A late 18th century Bilston enamel sewing etui.

This is a very beautiful example of Bilston enamel.

The thimble top unscrews to reveal a compartment for needles with the original stopper, amazing this is still present.

The bottom pulls off and there is storage for Bodkins.

On the outside are typical 18th century scenes.

This is in overall excellent condition, with very little crazing to the outside.
