Description

Very impressive walnut and marble top console table c.1890. Fantastic amber coloured marble top with a deep serpentine moulded edge and with a large ammonite fossil embedded within. On a shapely walnut base with carved apron and long slim moulded legs with acanthus leaf detail and beautifully carved hooves at the foot of each. With a repair to the marble, otherwise very good condition cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
