Exceptional Quality Musical Victorian Music Box Circa 1875

Description

Victorian MANDOLINE PICCOLO music box by PVF St Croix. The marquetry lid opening to a glazed protective lid, enclosing a 33 cm cylinder. The plate stamped 5792, as is on the tune sheet, which indicates 6 airs. This box has recently been expertly cleaned and overhauled and plays beautifully, giving good clear sound and resonance. It has a double Spring which maintains power and a mandolin adjustment. Delivery can be arranged to any destination.
