Description

A rare pair of vintage Hermes napkin rings from the TÊTE TORSADE line with horse's heads in their original presentation case.

Naturally top quality produced by the French silversmith, Ravinet d’Enfert, this was the silversmith used by Hermes for all of the silver items of the era.

One is silver plated and one is gold plated, both in excellent condition with minor wear commensurate with age, protected from having been kept in their original grey coloured grosgrain covered box. The interior is lined in off-white satin printed Hermes, 24 Faubourg, St Honore, Paris.

The underside of each is signed Hermes Paris together with the mark for Ravinet d’Enfert.

Each measures approximately 2 3/8" x 1 1/4" x 1 3/4" tall; the box measuring 5 1/8" x 3 3/4" x 2 3/4" tall.
