Description

Stunning French Gilt Bronze Table Centerpiece or Ladies Dresser Tray Decorated with Sevres Soft Paste Porcelain Hand Painted inset medallions of outstanding quality, made during the last half of the Nineteenth Century
The main tray frame with a wide wavy edge and lavish pierced and etched decoration depicting scrolling and foliate detail. The central porcelain inset hand painted in colours depicting Summer fruits and flowers within a raised gilt decorative surround on a celeste blue ground, all ten others with similar decoration.
Condition: Good condition for such an early piece, professionally re-gold plated, also re-lined underneath, nicely done
Width: (an impressive) 15.25" (38.5cm). Depth: 10.25” (26.5cm). Height: 2.5” (6cm).
