Description

A Georgian glass salt with a later solid silver salt spoon.
This very fine piece of Georgian glass is boat shaped with diamond cuts and a scalloped rim, the bowl stands on a good size foot with a lemon squeezer base.
The glass sparkles beautifully and would grace any dining table.
The glass salt dates to C. 1790.
The silver spoon though much later marked for 1899, is completely plain and matches the salt very well.
There are no cracks or chips and the spoon like wise in very good condition.
Height approx: 3 1/4 inches.
